Our Concept
A fun, energetic tribute to American cuisine. Our dining room is bustling with high-energy just like our great Magic City.  The menu boasts local and seasonal from farms throughout Alabama; the menu is ever changing as we make sure to have the freshest product on hand. Our dishes are fun, playful yet elegant with a feeling of comfort to them.

Roots & Revelry departs from the norm by modernizing fine dining. It’s haute with casual undertones, southern with international influences.

Roots & Revelry, located on the second floor of the historic Thomas Jefferson Tower on Second Avenue North downtown, gives a reverent nod to the building’s storied past as a well-known 350-room hotel, while splashing in some modern mystique. The restaurant’s tables and bar tops are made from the building’s original white marble while an opulent chandelier serves as one of the restaurant’s defining features. “If the building was built in ’29, you have to think this marble was probably made in the teens,” Brandon says while running his fingertips atop the thick surface. “You’re literally eating off history here.”
